| Primary Competitive Advantages |
Our unit is located in the highly industrialized area of the National Capital Region of India. This region has many ferrous and non–ferrous foundries and this is one of the very few foundry clusters in India. Due to this reason all relevant facilities for a foundry are present within the vicinity. Related infrastructures like die and pattern makers, CNC machine shops, shot blasting shops, powder coating, raw material suppliers, etc. are all located nearby. Perhaps the biggest competitive advantage that we have is the ability to manufacture Aluminium Sand Castings in any size, complexity and alloy as per customer’s specifications. Sand casting is a low volume production and hence not many good foundries in India are present in this niche segment. Many buyers in developed countries, and even in India, have a regular requirement of sand castings but are unable to procure the same due to a paucity of good foundries manufacturing sand castings. Having said that, we also manufacture castings through the Gravity Die (permanent mould) process. In fact, our bulk of the production arises out of the GDC process.

| Specialization of the Company |
We specialize in manufacturing highly complicated castings and over the years we have developed many critical castings for different applications. Castings used in Air brake system of locomotives have been developed by us and we happen to be the only RDSO certified Aluminium foundry in Northern India. RDSO (Research Design Standards Organisation) is a division of the Indian Railways and our foundry has been approved by them as a sub – let vendor for supplying Aluminium castings to the Indian Railways. Besides, we are also ISO 9001: 2000 certified since the year 2002. |
| Technological Details of Aluminium Castings |
We routinely undertake production of all the commonly used grades of Aluminium like LM 4, LM 6, LM 9, LM 25 etc. Having said that, we would also like to mention that we are in a position to manufacture castings as per customers’ specifications where grade of alloys is never a constraint. We could also provide buyers with completely machined castings and any other processes desired by them. |
